Does anyone know if these vents are a direct replacement for the Fountain vents (Attwood)? I have 2 on each side, but wanted to be sure that these will fit? Has anyone used in place of the plastic ones? Model 27S-14P.

I attempted to use them on my boat- I have a painted stripe that interfered with them looking "right" in my mind. Further, the holes do not line up. Short answer is "no", they are not direct replacements for the older Atwoods. I have seen some around that have a bezel around them or that are fabricated out of starboard- both custom and looked great.

Appreciate the reply. I'm taking my off to have them painted. Don't want to mess with them if they're not a direct fit.

Did you look at the "wide" vents? I know the newer Fountains use some variety of aluminum vent- the ones I ordered would have worked but for the paint stripe on my boat with a little work on the holes.

Where do you keep that sled of yours? I am at the 1mm. Big, old, slow 38 Fever.

I am just having them painted to match the graphics on the boat. I'm at the 2mm, so just around the corner. You must be in one of the marinas? Thanks for the help.
