You come on here bashing Fountains. Then get your little feelings hurt. Go into a biker bar and start bashing Harleys and see what happens. In my orginal post I conceded your baja was a grade above a bayliner. GEEZ! Most of us Fountain owners love our boats. Sometimes its a love/hate thing as with most High performance toys. But love them none the less.
Just wondering? Do any Fountain guys go on the baja forum and bash them? Seems like shootin' fish in a barrel, but just wondering. |

I think the big question is how many Fountain owners have sold there boat to buy a Baja?

I agree! I have owned 3 (Reggie) Fountains. But if Reggie left his name (Fountain) it had to be for a reason! With all the other boats being built under the same roof with Fountain you have to ask if the Quality will be there? Keeping mine!

I have also owned 3 Fountains, and I had a bunch of Foutain stock. I am disappointed Reggie is not there, he was Fountain, it's just not the same without him.
I am keeping mine for now, love the boat, just had the motors freshened. Reggie was like Richard Petty to me, the KING |

"I haven’t upgraded the styling of either of those boats since 2004." "We are going to be a custom boat company. That’s how I started, so I’m going back to my roots." I am glad Reggie himself admits how outdated his old boats were, how they need to be more up scale like the competition, and how the current fountain is NOT a custom boat company but a production boat company! So is everyone on here want to go bash Reggie like you did me? Or admit I was right! Well at least I got some entertainment watching everyone get all worked up! LOL! |

43 ft sportsboat? Fountain doesn't make a 43 they only make a 42 and a 47. Secondly, the interior was changed around 2007 so whoever said this was either lying or the quote is out of context and no you weren't right you were wrong.

The quote is from Reggies new company RF power boats. :coolcowboy:
"We are going to be heavy into service, heavy into brokerage of boats and heavy into building boats. My first two boats will be a 43-foot sport boat, a greatly enhanced and up-tuned version of my 42 but just a hair larger, and a 39-foot center console, which will be an upgraded and up-tuned version of my 38. I haven’t upgraded the styling of either of those boats since 2004." offshorexcursions quote: I think Reggie needs to get his eyes checked then! His boats look just like him.....1985..... cuz thats when the interior was last updated. |
