They will need to stay within the Fountain branding so it continues to have value to potential owners. Maybe they will do even better. The competition has thinned over the years as well. Not so many companys stick their neck out for the pure performance market as they once did . Even Formula has become more a cruiser manufacturer than performance these days. We will see?

I always saw Fountain as the boat that gets better every year. They were past cutting edge, all the way to bleeding edge of design and setup.
I don't see the new owners continuing on that route... the constant testing, re-designing, etc. of the Fountain bottoms and setup takes a ton of time and energy and I don't see them continuing with it.
So... I believe the brand will be a thing of the past. I am betting that Liberty will keep Donzi alive but just don't see it with Fountain.
I am guessing we'll see "Fountain Performance Boats" or something along those lines real soon. They will be considered the real fountains in the future.

Agreed, thread is young, will be interesting to see where it goes. Placed it here to see what Fountain owners are thinking, hoping to somewhat miss all the haters.
Goes without saying that your relationship with Fountain and Reggie over the years has been substantial. A little insider info here would spice things up. Will the first 2011 "Reggie" be in the Shogren showroom come spring?

You never know, in time I am sure the truth will come out.
I don't think it's a lay down deal.
