Bad A** 42

Thought Dean did a sick job on this 42 Fountain. The painted drives really set it off!! Just thought I'd post it up for Pier 57.

Some of the new 35's have had them. I kind of like the idea on a 35, may help with carrying more people!

No power. A pair of YPM 1200 with a matching paintjob would fit nicely. Or if you are into the merc thing, a pair of 1025/1200's should do fine:-)

cdowns 02-01-2011 10:14 AM

One of the best looking Fountains I have ever seen.:drink:

SS930 02-01-2011 11:46 AM

eddie 02-01-2011 01:25 PM

I couldn't help myself didn't see a price so I called. Asking $179k tails and headers included. Had 1075's in the boat old owner was Jim Purcey took the power for a MTI he picked up w/out mills.

quicklt1 02-01-2011 01:38 PM

I want that..but i still cant believe that their isnt a better solution to those god damn ugly hoses on drives!!!

We can put you some polished tubes on it....:drink:

Reggie Fountain 02-01-2011 02:06 PM

Thats Just An Older Setup! Theres Polished Ones Now That Really Look Alot Better!

Back4More 02-01-2011 04:28 PM

Its OK but the whole half a color on one side and then the other is out dated. Under the hatch graphics are a cool idea. The drives being painted looks goofy. Bullheads 42 looks 10 times nicer with much more class.

SLOWRIDE-388 02-01-2011 04:50 PM

Not a bad price for a practically new 42 Fountain. Just need some 1075s and go.
Was this the last one made?

Mark, I gotta agree with you on Bullheads 42 has more class, and is probably one of the finest 42's that Reggie did, but the look of the colors going down the top and through the drives is kinda cool. It's different, everybody has drives both painted the same color. Almost like the "Marlboro" Cigarette.
Somebody's gonna get one nice looking 42. :evilb:

tomtbone1993 02-01-2011 06:39 PM

I was thinking that as well.

Guess that's all you can expect from a production boat.

I do agree Back 4 More, my personal favorite would be Bullheads "Oh So Sexy", love the red theme on a true hot rod boat.

Marginmn 02-04-2011 02:15 PM

Didn't last long - sold already.

Glennthecanadian 02-05-2011 08:03 AM

fglightning 02-05-2011 09:40 AM

Congratulations on your new purchase! You own one of the best Fountains I have ever seen. When you ever decide to sell it, don't be surprised if I'm the first one calling! :) What kind of power are you thinking about?

Bryan
