I'm moving slow on it, been busy with work and generating cash from selling off the extra parts.

Trying to Generate cash is always fun :daz:

It's my own personal boat so I'm not in any rush. If I get it done by December I'll be happy with the progress.

Well that deadlines not going to get made. I did start tearing apart the dash. Hope to send it in for fiberglass work very soon.

Also had the -2 lowers painted.

Yes, I'm dumb I didn't learn anything from watching the guys on TRL tear up parts. I want to do it myself. :daz:I looked at a 2000 staggered #6 42 a few months ago and probably should of just bought it since it was such a deal. If my project was done I think I may of. I'm pulling the MSD knock boxes, full set of gauges, ordering new throttles/shifters and putting a GPS speedo in.

I also got the Whipples bought a few months ago so it's going to be EFI too.

Anyone have work done at Elite Power Boats? They are $2,000 lower to do the transom work than RF3 and about 700 miles closer. I'm trying to justify the extra cost of having RF do it, other than resale, I'm coming up short.

there might just be a difference in price because it is a dirty job to do! unless there is a difference in the way to get the job done but I doubt... it's pretty much always the same job cost whatever wich resin and cloth you are using... IMO at least!
