Boat is an older 33 executioner, now running approx 82gps and best of 85 real light, 580 hp na 509s and speedmaster 2's with 3 blade cleaver props.
Considering swaping prop rotation. Curently turning out. Have searched and seen some others get a couple of mph swaping to turn them in with more stern lift but i Dont know my x dimension but its rigged very low and whole prop swings below the keel. Would i see a gain or is it only with later models with higher x dims, any difference in kicking up a rooster tail rigged this low ?
Thanks

Only real way to know is try running them in, and see how the boat reacts. Normally, in provides more bow lift, and usually runs faster top speed. Downside is, handling might suffer, and docking can be a pain. Mine turn in on my straight bottom 38 with speedmasters. Docking kinda sucks.

Very few boats shine around the docks with the props turning "in". It is the price you pay to have a Fountain run it's best on the water. Simply learn to compensate around the dock, turn them "in"!!! Enjoy the better handling when out on the water.
In reality, you spend hours running on the water and only a few minutes docking the boat. Man up and make the adjustment, real men can dock a boat with the props turning "in"!!!

I hear you on the docking issue, and it's very hard to tell other boat owners that know how to back up a boat, that FOUNTAINS are hard to back up. I've found using the Port drive only sure helps me, I lift the drives to 3, and just use the port motor, works for me.
