Default Breathing Oil

Has anyone with the 502 EFI noticed a build up of oil residue on the blades of the throttle body? I pulled mine off this weekend and found some. All I can image is that the breather tube from the starboard valve cover is caughing up some.

Possible solution? I thought about pulling that hose off and installing a K&N breather filter on it and then putting a catch bottle of the port line but leaving it installed because it has the PCV valve.

Does anybody have any ideas, or reasons not to try these things?

Thanks.
