Whenever I feel a little down or need a pick me up, I reread random pages of this thread. It never fails to do the trick and put a smile on my face.
I was at the Shootout with another boat and was standing on the dock at Capt. Ron's. I was just kind of in a daze and not really paying much attention. I heard a boat pulling in and attempting to dock. I thought to myself, "damn, that thing sounds mean as hell." I looked up and saw a 42' Fountain and didn't really give it much thought. After staring at it for a minute or 2 and wondering what it had in it for power that sounded so good, I then realized that it was TRL. After he shot me the bird, he left. So, I got to hear the engines a little more. Of course, I would rather hear the engines than see him anyway. lol
Good thing is that they proceeded to beat the crap out of it for a few days and all of the parts are still where I put them. So, I guess that's good. Now it's time for more power if Eric would get off of his wallet.....cheap prick.

It really is. At the end of the day, that's what we build them for. For that reason, we take our time, make sure everything is right, they have enough water, the tune is on the money, etc. As long as it gets done correctly, then run em like a rental car.

Eddie (aka Mr Phucking Smart A$$) will have to answer that one...as I have no idea. I tell people a little north of 1000hp....but when I ask Eddie...he tells me some BS about computer crashes, pulley swaps, belt slip...blah blah...blah. Hopefully when we upgrade to the 4.0L I will get some real numbers this go around....lol.
All Kidding aside....im guessing between 1000-1020.
