For what its worth regarding the Morel's and noise.. I bought some Morel 4603's from Eddie maybe 2 years ago or so (and this post is nothing against Eddie, just Morel information) and they rattled from day one on the dyno. I thought the guy that put my motor together was the problem, then a year later I had another reputable builder go thru it. He said the lifters looked fine mechanically, but did fix up my valve train geometry slightly. They still rattled.

This year I put in Johnson lifters, and I haven't heard a peep. Totally quiet valve train. FYI-

yeah....Johnson swears that their Hydro Rollers would work with my setup...but I don't think Eddie was 100% convinced. Regardless, we are going solid roller.....and will just have to re-lash from time to time.

Will do, suppose to meet Bill R for the first time, he's gotta a TG and lived on the lake for a while, looks like I got out of KC just in time, nasty TStorms, sirens going off, send me a text, I got a new phone and ATT F'd up the transfer and I lost all my history

Eddie is a great mechanic. Great on helping everyone out. BUt honestly he lost me here. Solids are great for racing but hydraulics are drivability. IMO. I would set 32 lifters once in awhile if i had too. I really don't think you have to.
