Just curious, was there any discussion about remounting the trim tabs to the newer model setups, that being straight across? I see they are mounted parallel to the running surface originally. Or is that how Reggie and Co., wanted to mount them based on the hull year?

It woud seem you could use all the leverage available in the back with the new X-Dim.

we talked about it but you have to cut and modify the back gunnels down low you will see what i mean if you look at 03 and newer models . plus reggie said it would only help you if you are racing.only time i use tabs is if i have more people on one side or if waves are hitting from the side .there is no chine walking on this boat

it's been 4 months now feels like yesterday.just got back from now called fountain performance marine . cmi was to busy or short handed .so local shop in nc is going to do the exhaust it's been a slow process. the worst thing you can do is put a dead line on a project cause you will never meet it .i'm hoping middle of january for sea trial

yes they are busy 7 or 8 boats in the shop and some brokerage boats in the yard .

That was an interesting read - I also look forward to hearing what kind of numbers you get out of the 800SC's.
When did they go to the bigger steps? 98?
