The 47 lightning is a beautiful boat. Great layout, great cabin. I was looking at a few same time I was looking at my 45.

Good luck with the project. Looking forward to seeing some numbers. Good looking boat.

I bet that feels grand in a boat that size!

I love where it looks like the exhaust will be coming out. Will you be running the same prop on the middle drive?

47 lightning 12-09-2011 11:24 AM

all 3 props will be the same 7 blade herings maybe different pitch in the middle.those holes are for the exhaust for the center motor .there will be four exhaust holes in the normal location once we get the tail pipes back from cmi we haven't cut them yet.

I have a set of CMI center tail pipes in my storage that came out of my triple 42. I wonder if they would work and save you time and money. Tom

Interesting.. Any chance you have some more information about that 47/trip 1075 boat?? I have been thinking of this setup for a while...

i have the center pipes that run along side the gunnels the ones i had to modify are for the rear 2 motors so they don't get to close to under the swim platform in case i want to add mufflers.
