47 - does your boat sit in a slip all season??

my boat sits on a trailer in a heated warehouse when not being used .it stays in the water only when i do a poker run over the weekend like key west .i bought it in 06 it was for sale in ky in one of the dealers you know the one . and it was left out side with probably the drain plug left on with maybe 5 or 6 in of water in the bilge.i don!t totally blame fountain. if the bilge was kept dry this wouldin!t have happned.

Glassed in the mini bulkhead today & propped for sanding should white real soon.

I might stop in next week . Making a trip down to the sunshine state on the big 18 peterbilt .I will just bear left a little bit when I get into North Carolina, stop in, check it out and then head south on the big Jewish Highway.

Have been in new Nor-Tech 5000 V and Outerlimits 51, all with triple power. All I can say, is that the 1998 47 Lightning I am used to run here, both rides better, faster, safer and it just feels much more "modern" in the layout. After over 10 years!!

Why buy something else?!?!? People usually don't know much about boats and set-up really. Fountain do :-D
