About year 2000. Looking at a 38 in the classifieds. Wondering if the cockpit is bigger than a 35 and how it compares to the 29. I am asuming my 27 is the smallest?
Thanks in advance

27 and 32 have the same cockpit size (smallest). 29 single engine has what Fountain called their "extended cockpit" and is one of the biggest for what you are comparing. 35 and 38 Lightning have same, or almost the same length cockpit (don't remember exactly anymore - I measured both, the 35 being the twin step model, just for clarification), but they are narrower because of the walk-around deck. 38 Fever is same length as Lightnings, but wider, same as 27/29 for width, due to no walk-around. Never planned on owning a 42, so never bothered learning much about them. Hope that helps.

i went from a 97, 35 Lightining to a 2001, 38 Fever and it has sooo much more room (especially in width), I just miss that Walk around that the lightning had. Getting up to teh Bow is always creative and treatchrous.
