I just replaced both of mine on our 38, the best thing to do is look for the number on the cable. They are made by Teleflex and the the number will start with a 3...... as they are the 3000 series cables, the last 2 numbers are the length in feet. I also cleaned the cable where it passes through the transom with acetone to help the 4200 seal and stick to the cable.

My just replaced port drive cable on my 29' was 20'. It would be nice if there were a location on this site where all cable lengths could be located. Somewhere on here (maybe Q&A) a gentleman listed all of the cable lengths for his 32'. Hopefully someone will chime in with the info you need.
