The seller told me they adjust but I could't see how with the seat molded and upholstered into the gunwale, any taller owners out there with a solution. Reggie can't be that Napoleonic to make his boats only fit vertically challenged , eh, he's got a wider customer base than that. Thanks!

Buy a pontoon

Buy a shrink ray. Then buy a boat.

Thanks Roger, that's encouraging because I really love the Fountain, I think once my 13 yr old son gets behind the wheel, he won't care about tubing behind it and the wife who likes Corvettes, well, probably the same, so if it works out I'm gettin it, and I live way out west, so I am going to call Premier Interiors in CA even though I'd rather go to the guys who build the boat in the first place. BTW, I've been to the Fountain factory, it was the first performance boat I wanted and dreamed about, nothing in my opinion comes close. I have a great deal of respect for Mista Fountain, I feel bad making fun of him, I apologize
Reggie if you happen to read this (right) , I was just angry that I couldn't fit into his beloved product so I took it out on him personally.

Powerplay J, I already bought the shrink ray, and when I was trying to find the safety, I didn't realize it was already off, and accidentally fired it--it was pointed right below the belt and now I have THAT to deal with too! Maybe I should get the 47'

"Learn to live with it"? No thanks.

I would rather find a boat that I don't need to "Learn to live with".

I think Fountains are great boats....just not what I want.

So why hang out in this forum?

If you're already tall, then something like this is nothing new . . .

I'm 6'9" and I have a 27ft Fever. Sure I wish that the cockpit area had more room, but in the end it's a race boat.

I'm not 6' tall and I feel big&goofy but it works for me!Like someone said tight fit is safer!Cross your legs or make bracket 6" back??I don't like standing anymore only when planing off !I'd look at old 1988-1990 33' Donzi if I were you or Formula good luck or a35- 38' Cig but now your talking $$!

Didn't even realize it was the Fountain forum until you mentioned it. Just adding my opinion. Why so touchy? There are good and bad things with all boats, it is all about what works for you.
