No, I just always go to New Posts and check the subject line. What can I say, I am lazy and besides I just plain like performance boats, Velocity, Fountain, etc.

LOL. I do the same thing.

Yes, but it's abbreviated 'Baja' to keep it short. :)

Umm, stupid question in a the Fountain forum and this far into the thread, but, what speed is appropriate for pulling a tube anyway? Do they have a Bayliner forum in here?

We bought a little Tahoe Q5i (a step below a bayliner, IMO, now that I have it :picard1:) with a 190 hp 4.3 V6 to pull our kids around. We tow them at 20 - 25 mph on the "happy meter" Both tubes say not to exceed 20 mph. We pull my wife on skis at 25-28 mph. It would be really tough to try to pull kids behind a 27 or 29. We contemplated trying that, but you need to be at 35ish to really stay on plane. It would be really difficult to pull someone out of the water on skis unless they can really hold their breath a long time, as they are sluggish to get on plane with less than a 525 in them.
