For the record, I had a tach go out on my 35 at the end of the summer, so last week I called Livorsi and Gaffrig about getting it rebuilt/refurbished. The gauges are original from 1995, and are labeled Gaffrig by Livorsi. I got the same answer from both companies...the gauge was too old to be repaired. Livorsi was like "too bad, so sad, buy a new one." And a new one was $204. AND it didn't match the other one exactly, so I would need to buy two. Gaffrig's customer service called me back and explained that they couldn't refurb it, then offered me a 15% discount on the spot if I wanted to order new. That was in addition to the fact that they were only $145 to begin with. No brainer...I rec'd the new Gaffrigs within two days.
