Default Adding a boarding ladder

91 27 Fever going to insatll it on the left side standing behind the boat under the swim platform.
I'm considering using ss togglers. But i'm not sure how much free space is in between the top and bottom on the swim platform. the 1/4 -20 toggler sold by Fastenall need 1 7/8 inch of clerance to flip flat. I think closer to the transom will work . Near the back edge is my concern. It is 3 5/8 thick from top to bottom. I would think it is hollow, just not sure how thick the layup is in this area.
Any one ever drill hole for this ?
Thanks

Well I have bought and sent back several. Just could not find the right look. So I bought a simple 3 step telescoping ladder that would mount on top of the platform and made a custom Stainlees steel mount to go under the swim platform. It is really hard to tell it's there when the ladder is up. I'll get some pic's.
My wife is disabled from a car accident or we would not need the ladder.

Installed the same ladder on my cruiser, but went with the 4 step model. That extra step really makes a difference. But then my swim platform isn't as close to the water to start with. BTW, why didn't you buy the undermount design to begin with?

I wanted an under mount from the start. Bought several and sent them back. Didnt like the quality or the mounting plan or just the look once installed.
