Default 32' speed.... stepped vs non stepped

Does anyone have any information on the speed differences between stepped vs. non stepped with 700hp? Im looking for a 32' and not sure which one. Thanks in advance JimV

I know Curt here on OSO, has a 32 Fountain non step, running Tyler Crockett motors around 600hp???? Maybe he will chime in or send him a PM.

I had a 2000 32 stepped, with carb. 500 H.P.'s 5300 rpm, 27 Hydromotives, ran 83.9 on GPS normally, saw 84.2 one cool morning low on fuel.

Hey Jim. I'm running a 91 non stepped 32 with 600's that will run 85 in any conditions and has hit a record of 87.2 in perfect conditions. Don't know if this helps or not.

Tomorrow I'll take a chain saw and cut a step in it and get back to ya!
