can you elaborate on the cg length rule thing,i had never heard of it before.
Not just a Fountain thing. Bunch of other manufacturers changed the stated length but did nothing to the boat back then when it was all changing. But, to get back on topic, post some pics of that 29 man. Congrats! |

Some of you in the Texas/Louisiana area might recognize it from a few years back. Prev owner was pretty active up to abt 7 years ago.
Hope to have some pics on the water soon, but for now, this is what I got: |
Congratulations - post some pics of the cabin, if you don't mind.

Congrats ZZ. Nice boat. Your graphics are just like ours except a different color. Check it out.

Awesome, welcome to the family, I know just how you feel, I was over the moon when I bought my first Fountian years ago.... Actually, I still feel the same way, they're awesome boats.
Get her on the water and enjoy, safe boating :D |
Thx for the warm welcome!
My test ride was only abt 20 mins, but it was 20 mins I'll never forget. I can't wait to get her on the water again. She rides like a dream compared to my last boat, and corners like she's on rails. Don't see any blowers in my near-term future. She'll do mid 80's in fresh water. Plenty fast enough for me! Anyone ever see a steering wheel trim switch like mine, with the coiled cord and all? Prev owner said it came like that. I'm tempted to remove it or at least clean it up a little. |

My '88 10 Meter came with that wheel/switch. It is ugly, but you'll be amazed at how much you use it. I eliminated mine from the wheel (but kept it tucked up under the dash) when I redid my dash, and I haven't figured out a way to retrofit a nicer version yet, but I do miss it. It comes in very handy when you're planing off in traffic and/or rough water and need to adjust throttle, trim and tab at the same time. You only have 1 left hand.
