Just blew off a push rod and chewed up a rocker ? The rocker was made by crane are these parts available through mercruiser and does any one now if 525 efi comes with solids or pump ups and if pump up are these direct tighten down or adjustable.

Fountain 38 Lightning
Thanks
Tony

Had the same thing happen the second time I took the boat out this year. Luckily it was at idle. They don't use crane anymore, they have there own now. You have to adjust them.

The valvetrain on boats take a load of abuse and is what can ruin a season without warning. I would recommend using a Jesel valvetrain. They are bulletproof and take a a lot of worry away while pushing on the sticks
