About $3,300. From what I understand that's not uncommon for 47's, just a lot more than the $837 I'm currently paying. I'm not complaining, I knew what I was getting into here. Most of the companies my agency deals with won't even write a policy on a 47 no matter what the premium. it just is what it is..

The insurance is going to look like a grain of sand in the sahara compared to what I will spend in gas...

Call Wakezone. I pay little over $2K for insurance. Here is the best advice. Between fuel and maintenance and insurance you will spend around $10K a year to own a 47' Fountain. That is if you pay cash for one and you do not break anything.
