Well I once heard of a pair of HP 500'S warmed over at 509" with some real nice AFR heads, good cams, bla bla, and all the good stuff that showed 700+ on a dyno, wonderful things the dyno.

I can see that with HP's. Not so much with the EFI manifolds

2 different sessions 3 months apart almost same numbers, 540 callies short block, merlin 345 iron heads done by him, 700 plus solid roller by Ron, 11to 1, custom ported and shortened intake, 1300 cfm custom throttle body, stainless gen 4 manifolds 4.5 dry to the tip. 694 horse at 5650, 695.5 torque at 4900 lookin at the sheet now. Is hated by the neighbors and loved by me all the time. Rev limiter at 5500 the mid range is unreal compared to the 560 horse 502 that came out of it.

AHHHHH that's why so many people have you build their high performance marine engines for a living.

The stock 415 HP EFI Intake, throttle body etc. is rated around 750CFM. Not enough to feed those engines IMHO.

Im going to try them for a little bit just to get my wife off my ass. I have spent a barrel of money on these motors and she will never understand more until she gets to ride in it for a little bit so maybe a month or so and Ill call Arizona Speed and Marine. Ill sent them the spec sheet for how these are built and let them put together a fuel system to match them. That's why I was asking if they can be dyno while setting in the boat. I'm certainly not pulling again for this. But if they can be dyno and tuned setting in the boat I will go for it, I agree that they are built heavy duty with a little bitty 2 barrel carb on them. LOL
