Default Mystery plug and glove box door

I have a weird plug just below the 12V jumper plug. Photos would be better than my description. What's this supposed to be used for? I just realized how dirty it is too - gotta fix that tomorrow.

Any guesses. I think the wire go into the cuddy somewhere.

Next question, what are people using to keep the glove box door open? I've looked for hatch springs but they all seem too long. Pneumatic cylinder?

Last one for today, where can I find a replacement seal for the glove door?

Thanks,
Ryan

I agree that plug is just weird - it sort of looks like an anchor light plug - but I know that would only be 2 prong.

1. What kind of boat
2. Did you do any voltage testing

It appears to me like it is some type of communication system plug. Cb or P.A. System

That's for your trolling motor.

Do you have a battery charger? Possibly a 'shore' plug for it and only using 3 of the 4 terminals. Looks more of a previous owner installed plug

3pointstar - '95 Fever 27, no voltage testing yet
US1 - no charger- I'll trace the wires out this weekend to see if they're hooked up to anything. At least I know it's not a factory plug.

Looks a remote wench plug for a electric wench. Either trailer or anchor. It you have a anchor locker on the bow. That's were you will find the other end of it.
