Did he use glass or did he put lexan or plexi in?

I bet you can boat all month on a tank a gas with 500s! ....unlike those 575s! Ha!

Lightning windshield is lexan. Cut it down and reinstalled.

I'd suggest you call Darin directly for quote, as I had windshield cut down and painted, all grab rails and seat pedastels painted. And I honestly don't know how much he cut off. I sat in the boat, and put a piece of tape where I wanted the upper rail to be (not in my line of site). I'd guess maybe 3-4 inches??

I did mine a two winters ago and took 8" off.
