I am looking at a 94 35 lightning and would like to know some reviews on experience with this boat. Will be used in north ny. Lake ontario, st lawrence river. Motors are 502 550hp. Do they hold there own in handeling for a 35 or am i better looking at a 38?

Loved both 35's I had solid ride, good for me up to 2.6- 3' seas.I'm sure it could handle more but that was my limit. I would say with that hp. it should be in the low 80's.

I would think you would be fine,I have not had to turn around yet because it was to rough ,
