That is what I did with this boat , I bought it 8 years ago and every winter we made some upgrades to it so she was better than the year before ,

My 89 10 meter has 468 blocks with 088 heads and 177 blowers. The motors made 610 hp on the dyno. I have trs drives and with 28 bravos or 26 hydros I run the exact same top speed of 75. The boat handles better with the hydros and both sets of prop spin to 5000. I have been debating switching to bravos and probably picking up 10 mph.
