540 Merlin3 blocks, Dart Pro1 CNC'd alum. heads, Dart port matched intakes, Eddie Marine Thunder exh.,, MSD ign. w/the black bushing,, 10 qt. oil pans w/ scraper windage trays, H beam rods, JE pistons, Holley 9022 ,800 cfm carbs. dialed in w/ several jet changes, .600/.610 Howards roller cams degreed in, 35 degree total advance.,Champion Racing spark plugs changed at 30 hours,, 8mm plug wires, big oil coolers w/thermostats, 140 degree water thermostat, no circulating water pump just a crossover.
Just the usual maintence stuff to keep her running in top cond.
Bravo1's ,1.50 use Amsoil 75/110 Severe Gear oil., 28 Hydro Q4 props

so Hydromotive seems to have an edge for prop of choice...which Hydro specifically?
power is 509's, Merlin cast heads, Edelbrock intakes, Holley 850's...estimated HP is slightly above 500 each. pushing through XR's, 35 Fountain, non staggered flat bottom

My engines are similar. 496CI ,Dart Pro 1 alum heads, Solid rollers, 10.5:1 comp, 1050 Dominators on Dart intakes, CMI headers.They made 625HP... Im hoping for 85MPH...Just bought a set 30P Bravo1 props.

Nice setup, 30P Bravo1 is equal to 28P Hydromotive, but you need to trim the Bravo's more, and the Hydro's are a sternlifter to help get the heavy rear end lifted a bit for less drag, let me know how the Bravo's work out.,, I will take a guess and say 80-82 on gps.

While not a 35 , but a straight bottom 38 with #4's. I got 96.6 out of it this day. had 150 gallons of fuel on board. 17x28p props. 1.49 ratio. 6200rpm. Twin 800's.

Dang That is moving!!!!! looking good!!!! I just bought a pair of B&M 250's so I'm hoping for 90 this summer. I was running 75-77 last summer on my flat bottom 35 so lets see what happens.
