Just really wanting to check myself. The 98-99 were the same bottom correct?

96 and on big steps unti 2005
I thought 05 & late were short steps
07 new up new interior topside
08 under and topside new new

98-99 were same bottom. 95-97 were small twin step. 2000-2004 were next gen after 98-99. Final bottom tweaks were 05 and up I believe. It was either 04 or 05 for final bottom tweaks. 98-99 basically have the same speeds as 2000 and up however 2000 and up handle better at higher speeds. Higher speeds being over 100. That's the jist of the 42 bottom from all my research.

2005 was the last and most recent bottom, fully developed with Reggie still in charge. They changed some cosmetics after that but not the bottom. I printed off the pages from that thread some time back. I'll see if there are any clues that lead me to the whole thread.
