Turns out a shorted out battery will keep the shore power from operating any 12v functions.
now thats a HUGE risk.

I just put my 525's for sale in the swap shop. May be a cheap way for you to get back on the water. Take a look.

Just a quick update. Replaced the ignition switches (i had no keys) the starboard engine fired right up and ran as it should. The port engine not so lucky, had some coolant under the valve cover and some sign of water intrusion on #6. Pulled the engines and delivered the port engine to Eddie Young for damage report. The genset runs good but i was not able to test the ac output. As we were pulling the engines i noticed the transom was weak around 2 of the exhaust tips so its time to get itchy. I will post pics when i get to something interesting. We all know what pulling engines looks like! Its going to be a long winter.

Because going to Harbor Freight and spending $20 on a tarp and some twine is just too much f-in trouble! OMG LAZY...I about cried looking at the pictures. Looks like it found a good home though and I look forward to seeing the updates! Sorry to hear about the transom that sure adds an unwelcome repair... on the bright side, at least you will have the chance to paint up the bilge and make it all pretty again like it deserves!

The real tragedy was that the cockpit cover was still in the bag in the closet. It was a surprise to the previous owner when i ask him about it.

Looks like its time for a transom. While I'm at it does anyone have any input on changing the x dimensions?

One good thing is when you get it all redone and looking new again you will have a nice new oem cover for it.....That's a plus
