Default 35 Ex-looking for Stereo help.

Given the limited storage space in these boats, where did you put amps? Planning to re-do the system, has anyone removed the lights above the step next to rear bench and replaced with speakers? Sorry if this has been a beaten topic already but I am new to Fountain ownership, don't want to lose the compartment adjacent to the v-berth if possible. I am thinking about the "Head" (if that is what they actually call that space anyway) since I use it for life jackets and cover storage anyway. Also don't want to minimize the storage under the sink area since I have too much crap there already. Thx!!!

I mounted my amps in the mirror area behind the sink my 10 meter had a pocket that was a perfect fit for 2 jl audio amps. Also yes the lights on the side can be replaced with speakers

My amps are under my rear bench seat. (but its a Lightning). Look up my other posts for replacing the Fountain lights with speakers (in my old 27' Fever).

I mounted both my amps on back wall under rear seat, they have been there 3 seasons with no issues, also heads up when cutting hole in starboard side for 7.7 speaker where light was, be careful of steering hydraulic hoses and wire harness, mine was tight against where I cut, I removed outside louvered vent and zip tied hoses and wired back before cutting hole.
