Boat was on a mission this past weekend at the lake Champlain poker run, It was the lead V by a good stretch. we started picking off the outboard cats till we lost a power steering belt and in return hit the crank position sensor. We didn’t get to finish the run and make it to lunch but we got to shut a lot of mouths and hurt some feelings!

Isn't the the idea of a poker run just to have fun and not a dick swinging contest? Why is it a competition?
Where's the dislike button? Don't ruin this thread! It's about the restore process of this boat and its new owner chiming in about the boat. It doesn't need any Cruisers spewing their opinion about how people do run or should run their boats in Poker runs. OSO is performance boating. Maybe he was having fun running his performance boat to its potential. BTW If you had a big dick like his excellently redone, one of sixteen Fountain 42' PR you'd be swinging it all over also. And rightly so! |

Comments like yours need to be kept to yourself as it serves no purpose. |
Reminds me of the Friends of Nature speech

You don't own a 42 PR and not let it eat at a PR!

so, after further investigation, we had to pull the motor we lost a power steering belt on. There was some internal things that happened from the crank position sensor being thrown out from the belt hitting it after it broke. Unfortunately we pulled out of the key west poker run rather than trying to rush it back together. A huge thank you to keith and shane for letting me use their shop and giving me a hand getting the motors out and over to island racing. While the motors are out I have island racing ordering and installing the 3.8 whipples on them. She will be back bigger and better next year!

With Whipple's that thing will be able to run with Billy's old PR. Nice.
What are you going to do with those intakes? I forget are they tall deck motors? |
Are 42 PRs the same as a lightning from
the rub rail down? Or are they shorter? |
