Like the sound of your set up, will go out in the weekend to see if i can find an amp under that seat, but suspect the speakers are gone,
Doing a few repairs at the moment, and speakers are down the list,
the manifolds are getting changed out this coming week, also, new air idle modules, a salt away system, and replacing the shower sump. Then i want to fix the speedo, looks like a simple wire in a new attenna. New camper canvas goes on the end of the month, and then it will be looking mint again minus the stereo sound
.
Anyview on bravo 3 xr prop pitch. I seem to be able to rev it along way past the red line, so i think its under pitched.

I had 1.81:1 bravo 3 with bravo III XR props (four blades leading three blades) at 25" pitch. Boat set right at 5,000 rpms at sea level and Florida heat. My bravo 1 drives are 1.65:1 with 24" pitch maximus props same 5,000 rpm and speed at 60 mph.

Thanks 38fountainecman, I am not getting anywhere near 60mph at 5k rpm. I check the props they are 27 XR type. and the drives at bravo 3X. I can see the ratio but think i must have a 2.2 ? as i would be lucky to get a bit over 50mph at 5k rpm. the engines dont seem very loaded. and it will continue to build revs to 5600 or more. I guess i can go 28p, but should i bite the bullet and go for a different ratio?

If you want to run a bravo III set up, mine was 1.81:1 ratio with bravo III XR props at 25" pitch. The XR props have a leading 4 blade prop with a trailing 3 blade prop. When I first got the boat, that combo ran 61-62 mph in the Florida heat at 5100 rpms. I've switched to a bravo 1, with maximus props. Probably down 1-2 mph, but that is because I've put a bunch of **** in my boat and weighed it down and have over 400 hours on the engines.
