Default upgrading the cable trim indicator to LED digital

I broke one of my drive cables in the weekend that moves the trim arrows on the dash, before i replace it, has anyone upgraded theirs to a digital solution? i see livorsi does a conversion, just curious what people normally do.

I believe they still use a short cable.
I believe you will find that the cable indicators you have now will be more accurate than the digital ones.
I have been real happy with the cable indicators I have had over the years.
replace the cables after 5 years and you shouldn't have any problems.

Shoot me a PM if you need any assistance or have any questions about converting to electronic trim indicators.

thanks for the flow chart, easy to understand, I guess if the mechanical is still seen as the most accurate i will stick with it. As it works.

I like the mechanical vs. the LEDs. If you want to upgrade the "system" while you have the indicator apart to replace the cable, swap out to the indicator "dots" that have LEDs on them. They are great for running at night. I think Livorsi makes them, but not sure.
