Reggie told me 3-3.5”. I have had it at 1.5” and now raised it to 3. Did pretty much the same thing. Boat accelerates hard at 95 and on had it at 110 and a whole lot more there busy it was starting to get a little scary with the purpose

Im at same dimensions as you are. Props 17x30 18deg rake 110 mph no problems

^^ just the +3 degrees of rake carrying the bow

So upping the rake to 18 could possibly help?

I think they call them “big step” for a reason, the step size must have been reduced later.
