What year did Fountain switch from wood construction to composites?

I've heard over the years it started '05-'06 with the larger boats. No facts to back that up. But most of the problem boats you hear of are earlier builds than that time frame.

When I had my engines done part of the reinstall was to pull the exhaust tips and reseal all four. The cuts were sealed with glass and all were caulked, but did not look like plywood to me. My boat was built in December of '06, close to, if not the last of the side by side Lightnings.
