Its all working out for sure. Its busy, and I just dont have the time to use the boat. Got into some other hobbies and have been going back and forth on just keeping it and paying the storage insurance etc. Or just having the mindset that I can always get another one when the times comes. Its hard to have that mindset because I know a lot of these fountains have rotten stringers and I have done a lot to this boat to maintain it and its solid for an 03. Hindsight will be 20/20 as always.

The wet ones were usually left outside in the weather, were not fixed from the original factory mistakes and/or rode hard and put away wet. Mine is a 92. Always dried off, kept dry and taken care of. I had it appraised last season and the guy spent 3 hours crawling all over it., except for a few minor mechanical issues, clean bill of health. I have seen a lot of wet boats, not to name any in particular, but they all will rot if not taken care of. I spent 18 months due to delays of parts, other shop delays restoring a friends "other boat", the transom and about 6" of stringers were wet due to the previous owner relying on a friend to install some tabs and did not seal them correctly.

Welp.. Its the end of an era for me. Was able to finalize the deal on the boat last week and everything is all completed with the sale. I am still in the fast hobby world, and while the backseat is small, its not my daily driver, but the kids love it and we can take it out really anytime we want weather permitting. Been enjoying being able to take out the "toy" more often.
