Default Confirming prop rotation

Just confirming 1997 Fountains ran the twin props so when in forward the tops of props spin inward and down. Sound right? I believe this creates stern lift. Marina asked me how I want them to install my props so I want to get it right. Thank you!

Depends on how your out drive shift linkage is set. Could be set to spin in or out. You can run the engines on a hose and shift into forward to confirm which rotation you have. My Fountain did spin in.

I've always heard turning "IN" gives a slightly better top end speed at the expense of low speed maneuverability (docking manners), at least on the Fountains..

Trim out when docking and you will not even notice it.

at least I don’t, having tried both.

I am either very good at docking or very bad! Lol
