Just remember that a 98 model could have been delivered anytime after about July of 97. So you're talking about a six year old boat. 85 hours begs questions. If it was repowered, again, that provokes different questions. Make sure you have a surveyor check the hours by reading the engine codes. If it is a true 85 hours, then check this out. There was a post in the general section two weeks ago where someone bought a 2000 cig with just over a 100 hours that had set for two years. The new owner dropped valves in both engines within 20 hours of the purchase.
Get a survey and water test to protect yourself. Craig223 went through 3 or 4 cigarette bullet surveys before he could find a boat without a wet transom.
Cheap should not be your goal...reliability.

For the price of a new ex. with xr drives new motors no hrs why buy some ones problems. take the big step and enjoy it. life is to short and you cant take it with ya. sign the dotted line and make those slow easy monthly payments.
