Candyman & Back4More,
I have two possibly three Poker Run boats coming in. My persoanl boat was ordered with #6 drives, the motors are in question. The other boats, one with 600's & XR's, the other one possibly 1075's and 6's. The 525 will run about 96 with 4 people, fuel, and herrings. The 600's should run about 105-109, the new Mercury's about 127 and the Mercury 1075's 140+. Hope this helps. Although mine will not be in for our Anniversary Sale you can be sure to see it and the 47 with triple 600's at many poker runs this summer.
Take care to all.

I have a 2005 42 with stand up bolster seat (front and rear) the boat is equipped with 1100/1350 HP Sterlings. The boat tested 127 MPH with the boost set low. I hope to get in the mid 130's with the boat once I put some Herrings on it and turn the boost up a notch or two.
Makes you wonder what the 42 PR Edition would do with the big Sterling power and Mercury dry sump #6 drives. Remember Bob Russell still holds the PRA kilo record with his OL equipped with 1400 HP Sterlings at 147 MPH. I bet the 42 PR edition equipped with big power could easily set a new PRA kilo record.
