I agree with you.

I guess I will never understand how someone can have so much money tied up in something that just sits.
Maybe I am just that out of touch with the guys that are selling these more expensive boats. All kidding aside, do the guys that have a 100k boat paid for look at it as a toy that if they don't use it, that's ok and when you want to use it it's there?
I just don't have that kind of money, I can't relate.

I dont know either. All I can say is,some people are just stubborn.
Did ya ever notice how everbody thinks what they've got is worth all
kinds of money,and what everybody else has got isnt worth $hit !
I do know that if you really want to sell somthing,you have to be
realistic with price. Nobody in the right mind will spend 110k for a 8 year
old boat,when then can buy one a year old for 20k more. Whats the payment difference,75 bucks a month?

i agree with both of you to a degree. but there are plenty of boats selling both new and used, and if i go look at a new one for lets say $160K and i can buy an 05 with 10 hours on it for say $20-$30k less...to me its a no brainer but maybe i'm the incompetent one ?
