in a scale of headache to enjoyment ratio, I think the avatar and the boat are probably pretty close. But I can't sweet talk a 46 foot boat to come home with me so my choice is clear.

Apache's Rock,...............Also think there is allot of History
over looked with the Cougars. And the accomplishments
they achieved with them.
Had a chat with Mark McManus at one point about them too,
Interesting to say the least...........
Tantrum Thanks !!

Had the chance to drive a 46 Cougar about 8 years ago on Lake Michigan. It was an unbelievable beast. it took everything like it wasn't even there. Remember George Morales? He did pretty well with his. I think the styling was very 80's and makes it look dated. Although, I think part of that is some of the paint schemes.
Here's another thought- you can just about steal a 47 if and when they come up for sale. 47's bring some decent coin.
There's an aluminum one less power in the classifieds- I think it was at Lake Cumberland marina. it's all yellow and a good looking boat. I'm just curious how a 20 year-old riveted hull that's probably been used in saltwater has held up?

Yes, in England. For a while, the aluminum 38 Cougar ruled.
They even made a one-off cat that was somewhere in the 80 foot range. Made it for Richard Branson to go after the Blue Riband. They split the hull open and it sank.
