Dude... that is such a wild paint job... which I usually dont like... but that thing looks mind-numbingly BADASS!! Purple, yellow, orange, green, blue and I am sure many more that you can only notice in person... those are the same colors I used to see in my head when I was in college dropping acid and doing lines of nose candy as big as my arm...... GREAT JOB... it really works on that boat....It gets my vote as coolest boat of the year so far!!

Wow! It really came together nicely. I heard it won most exotic engine room as Sarasota run. It is one of the nicest cats I have ever seen! Keep us updated on your speed. I bet it's over 150 MPH

Looks great!!! What pitch props and gear ratio are you using?
Do not rely on just the mechanical pump. Run the electric at all times. That is too much hp for a mech pump.

You should be fine with just the mech pump. I ran 1050 hp last yr with no problems at all. A friend runs 1250 with a mech.
I'm a little suprised they have you priming with an elec though. Most electric pumps are made to push not pull. I have ran a set up like you have. It worked fine but Isn't necesary. Also you are suppose to have a solinoid on the elect in case of an accident.

These pumps are rate for up to 2,000 Hp engines that are not fuel injected.

Gino, that is one sweet ride alot different than the 500`s and bravo`s. Larry did an amazing job!You need a drive guard on that trailer to protect that Work Of Art .

The first props I were 17.5 x 34P Merc 5 blades. The boat was very flighty. The second props were 17X33P 5 blade Herings. Much better but still a lot of lift. I think 16.5 X 35P will be perfect. Not too much lift, great acceleraton and good top end. Anyone have any for sale or trade??
