Now, even though, performance boating accidents may be a small number of total boating accidents each year, they are usually much more high profile, and the damage is typically worse. People notice, so do Insurers.

Well, I cant get a call back from Bob at WW. I guess after I told him Seasafe quoted 6k I was no longer a MARK. Were all nothing but boat horz to these people makin them ritcher quicker. So I guess it goes up for sale this weekend...Im not payin nor do I have 6k for insurance..I guess this is gonna be a rich mans sport for sure now..I always thought with a little preserverence I could make this happen even on a blue collar salary. They proved me wrong.

That sucks Frank, sorry to hear you say this. I wanted a Cat so bad , between ins. & the wife, I felt the CC would be the best compromise. So I came to accept the reduction of spped & the thrill of a cat. Now when I see what they want for ins I'm real happy that my CC costs $750-00 for full coverage. I remember Maximus had a great deal on his ins, what was his deal? Would it help if you pulled the 300's off & installed 225 or 250's?
Hey I understand your decision, I could't afford to keep a cat on the water either. Good luck
John

If you own the boat their are a lot of options you can do..If its financed there's only 1.......COVER THE NOTE........I informed Mike that the FAT LADY IS SINGING for me and I might be out of the club. Im gonna try to get a 6 month policy that might carry me till Oct 31 then will see whats up. Im in no hurry to sell it, maybe something will change with the insurance dilema(I cant be the only one) the mfg's along with Merc. are going to have to address the problem or there customer base is gonna fall drastically. Maybe some kind of pool with only seasoned perf. boaters with clean slates and no claims. What ever I hope I can swing the 6 month deal so Im not stuck missing the new season(NOW)
