I pull my 38 Top Gun back and forth to FL from Michigan every year with Yukon XL, 8.1 litre V8, 4.10 gears...no problem at all. Just make sure the trailer has electric brakes..

Also, the Yukon XL has a comfortable ride when you're not pulling and it's easy to turn and park....

Mileage is about 9.5 without the boat and 7-8 mpg pulling the boat.
