Who's all heading to the NYC poker run? Our boat is staying in ohio but, I plan on visiting my girlfriend in brooklyn and being a spectator there saturday. Hope to meet all you guys.

Maybe all us offshore only boaters should just have are own table at the party. Put a reserve sign on it. What do you think?

Last year I wore an OSO T-shirt and people kept asking me if I was on the staff. I think it would be a crowded table. We'll be there in the scarab, almost a classic now.

If I get the Hustler's motors running well, I'll be there in it and if not we'll bring our friends fountain instead. Either way we will be there. That would probally be a very large table!!!

Hey guys - where are the spectators going to be? I know the best "show" is going to be at Liberty Landing, but where can one sit and watch from the city? Who's going to be where? I want to come up from Florida and see it since my boats are still NOT up and RUNNING! :mad: The Mistress is still a long way away and the new 20' is having the freshened motor put back in next week.

Let me know what the story is, I don't want to miss it! Anyone leaving from the Long Island area have an extra seat or two? My girlfriend's in Ocean Beach for the summer, if you've got room for us, drinks are on me! :drink:

If it is too rough for me to take the ride, I have a back-up plan. A friend lives on the water directly across the canal from Russos on the Bay in Howard Beach. I can hitch a ride with him if necessary. It is alot closer for him to take the ride than me. If you go, call me on my cell.. I posted the # in your noise thread.

Harry,

If walking the docks is second to you, may I suggest you watch from one of the numerous parking garages on the "West Side". Many people "tailgate" in these garages and have a blast from I have heard. A cool way to be on both sides of the river is to go to Liberty Landing and walk the docks. Then hop on the Chelsea Screamer back to Chelsea piers prior to the start to watch from the city. Plenty of restaurants!
And only $1/ft for 4hrs... call on channel 16 for Chelsea Piers and tell them you want to dock and dine.

I'll be there with Richie Sutphen Jr., Dan and Steve of Sutphen Performance Boats. Their bringing TKO, a 2004 40' with staggered BB/#6's, 20' and possibly a 26'. See you all there!

We will be there on Friday am. We are making a run to Jones Beach inlet from LLM on Friday am then returning early in the afternoon to get ready for the festivities

I don't think Walter will be there. I believe the engines need some tweaking before the run. TKO may end up being a display boat.

We will also most likely be at Stony Point Bay (Cannon Ball) for breakfast. They have a new restaurant with slips. Should make a good meeting spot.

Yesrej,,, so far my plans are to leave Newburgh between 8-9 and be at LLM by about 9:30 to walk around and check out the boats. after that were playing it by ear,, may head North with the parade up to the GWB or head down the east river before the run and up to the TZ for the king of the hudson,, not really sure,, of course the weahter is supposed be crap so again it's all by ear.. what are your plans ???

Just moved from Manhattan to Jersey City. WOrk in Montvale. Between boats as we speak. Used to boat out of Liberty Landing in Summer and Haulover Inlet in Miami during Winter. You sound like a Hudson guy, Active Thunder?
