I have been boating on the lower half of lake michigan for 2 years. I have dry stailess marine headers that are loud. I have never been bothered at all. When I first bought the boat, I asked a sherriff about it and he said as long as your not rapping them off in the channel then your fine. Have a good trip.

I think REBEL is right. As long as you are a COOL PLAYER you won't have a problem---at least that is the way I have found it in St.Joe, and Muskegon thus far. Holland is the only place I got pulled over for my exhaust---just being cool, and idling through in the harbor I was still pulled over. I don't go into the Holland's harbor anymore---nothin' much there anyway. I would have to think all noise restrictions have been lifted for the weekend---and I haven't heard of any problems in the past years with noise tickets during the SMOKE weekend.

A buddy of mine was on a smaller poker run a few years back and the sherriff was waiting in the harbor and gave everyone a ticket. The people that put on the run called the department and they were all dropped. They will not give tickets out on this big of a charity run.
