Dad was old school so he had me drag racing at 12yrs old and playing baseball in between that, he sold our 16ft open bow mark twain when I first got in high school and I really missed it so right out of high school I bought my own boat. Also I will try to get some pics, I totaled my first and only car so far at 11yrs old my dads 1986 hurst olds 0-60 in ten feet straight into the family room while he was at work. Left a nice patch though...

I dreamed about getting a boat.

So far it seems we all had the need for speed....

I think mine was the usual too, bikes to cars now to boats, still have my Harley that I bought in 85, one of the toy trucks and now two boats. I think the older we get the more expensive our toys get

before I got a boat I was on mom and dads boats..

I was very much involved with racing motorcycles, I still love the speed of them and the art it takes to ride up front . But at 45 and a job and wanting to retire I can not afford to get hurt.Boating has been one nice sport , Lots of great people and lots of great times.

Ditto. Although, I did buy a corvette while I was boatless for a couple of years. Then I bought my first go-fast.
