Mike Beasley Memorial Poker Run
The 5th Annual run was yesterday, a record turnout,over 100 boats,over 500 Poker Hand entries were purchased. Nearly $20000 was raised,every penny goes to local Smith Lake area rescue squads. Valerie Beasley and her 2 sons rode with me ,other family members rode with Dano.It was a good day,at each of the 10 stops there were so many volunteers the docks were almost sinking,and everyone was strictly volunteer. It was a fitting tribute to my best friend,I know he would be proud. RIP,Mike,we still miss you. Robert
