I have a relative who has a 30ft cobra for sale with triple outboards. I have only been on a few cats, but this one does run nice.

There are at least 2 different boat manufacturers called Cobra. The old school Cobras were related to the Coyotes and were V-hulls built around Miami in the late '70's early '80's. The newer Cobras are totally different - many or all are cats and they are West coast boats.

Cobra Performance boats= West Coast, still in business www.cobraperformanceboats.com

Cobra Boats=East Coast, use to be built in NJ, dont know where they are built now, www.cobraboats.com

As OC said there was also a Cobra Co. in Florida, ie "Beep Beep" (no longer in business, some molds sold to Sonic?)
Hope this helps

Thumbs up Re: cobra boats

Here's my 30. I'm very happy with it, Only problem I have is with the motors and drives blowing up constantly(Merc 2.5 outboards). It handles excellent if you ask me and I have been in a bunch of outboard cats.
